You can only upload photos which are less than 100KB in size to your adverts. If your photos are larger than this they won't be uploaded. You can check the size of your photo by opening the folder containing your picture, and then right-clicking on it. Select 'Properties' - the size of your picture will be shown.
Remember 1MB = 1000KB. To make large pictures suitable for uploading you will need to resize or compress them. You can compress them with your usual Photo Editing software. Alternatively, if you are running Windows XP you can download an image resizer from Microsoft. To do this follow the steps below:-
1) Click on this link to access the download from Microsoft Click Here To Download
2) Select 'Run' and then 'Run' again. The installation process will start. Follow the on screen prompts. Keep clickng next until you get the option to select to install.
3) Once installed you will have a new 'Resize Pictures' option when you right-click on an image within a folder.
4) To use this resize option when uploading images in the auction listing do the following. Click the Browse button to open a folder. Locate your image (you may find it easier to change to a Thumbnail view). Once you have located the image, right-click on it. By selecting the 'Resize Pictures' option you will then be given the option to resize. Select 'Small' and then click 'OK'. The picture will be resaved to the same directory in a smaller format. The filename of the smaller picture will have '(small)' in it.
General instructions for resizing pictures using this Microsoft utility can be found on the microsoft website by following this link.

A) Stores allow sellers to create their own auction shop to list their auction items. Stores are easy to create once you have registered. You can customise your store with a store name, store description, store logo etc. Buyers can seach for your items through keyword searches as normal, or they can browse items by visiting your store. Stores are an excellent way for power sellers to list a large number of items effectively, and have your own store front.
Stores are ideal if you have your own website, but don't have any e-commerce or shopping cart functionality. Just provide a simple link on your own business website to your store, and give your customers the ability to buy online.
You can also use your store to promote your business, with a link back to your own website. There are also store pages for your company policies, shipping information, and special offers. InternetBid.co.uk supports all the popular internet payment gateways such as PayPal, NoChex, WorldPay, Protx etc. If you don't have one of these accounts already, you can set up a free account with PayPal in minutes (see www.paypal.co.uk). Once you have created a PayPal account your customers can pay for goods with all major credit cards (they don't need a PayPal account!). As with all other listings on InternetBid, you don't pay any final sale price commission fees on anything that you sell.
